As of January 22, 2026, the Basic Act on the Promotion of Artificial Intelligence Development and Establishment of a Foundation of Trust (‘AI Basic Act’) will take effect, and new legal and institutional standards spanning the entire process of AI development and use will be applied to companies and industries as a whole.

The enforcement of the AI Basic Act is expected to be a turning point that goes beyond the mere introduction of regulation and requires companies to fundamentally reorganize their AI strategies, governance, and risk management systems. In particular, the burden of operational and management obligations for AI, the strengthening of transparency and accountability obligations, and the establishment of ex ante response systems for high-risk AI will directly affect corporate management and technology development strategies as a whole.

In this seminar, we will comprehensively review the main contents and legal issues of the AI Basic Act and present practical, actionable measures from an operational perspective regarding what strategies companies should adopt in response. We invite you to a meaningful forum for discussion on sustainable growth strategies for companies in the new institutional environment created by the enforcement of the AI Basic Act.
