Association Regular Academic Conference examines the introduction of public AI through to accountability

On June 25, at LES 2026, the Korean Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law held its regular academic conference on the legal conditions for AI in the public sector. It examined public AI infrastructure and procurement, impact assessment and transparency, and the responsibilities of the state and suppliers.

National Court Administration and the Association jointly discuss the AI transition of the registration system

The National Court Administration and the Korean Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law announced plans to hold a joint academic conference on February 3 at the Supreme Court to discuss the introduction of AI in the registration field. The notice presented the institutional design and challenges of AI registration services to be addressed by the judiciary, academia, registration practitioners, and legal tech stakeholders.

AI legislation for trust and mutual growth discussed at the NIA and Association joint seminar

The Korean Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law, together with the NIA, the Korea Association for Privacy Law, and the Radio and Telecommunications Law Forum, held the 2025 Intelligent Information Society Legislation Forum Open Seminar. The seminar discussed institutional challenges surrounding agentic AI, infrastructure, and startups, as well as directions for legal and institutional reforms for trust and mutual growth.

The fee is KRW 50,000 for regular members and KRW 1,000,000 for institutional membership. The fee is KRW 1,000,000 for the president, KRW 300,000 for vice presidents, and KRW 100,000 for directors and auditors.
